Quintin Tyevon
Quintin Tyevon McClellan was born on January 29, 1994 and is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Quintin Tyevon founded UnderclassXIX in 2013 and represents Tallahassee, Florida as his hometown. Originally born in Brussels, Belgium due to his parents being in the military, two years later they moved back stateside. Being raised in different parts of the world mostly the Southern US region, Quintin has gained many influences from cultural aspects to music that assist in shaping the sounds of this wide ranged artist. He embarked on his career with the stage name of Q.T. The Misfit and went back and forth using the name of Quintin Tarintinto representing his favorite director before ultimately deciding to rebrand and use his real name in 2022. From infusing funk and jazz like sounds inside of 808’s and even using ambient or lo-fi sounding beats the versatility from Tyevon extends far. Musical influences include Outkast, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Wale, and many more! At the top of 2019 the latest project entitled “No Self Pity” was released and has since gained over 350,000 + streams on Spotify. Currently Tyevon and the UnderclassXIX team are planning a eventful year in 2024 starting with Tyevon's latest single release "In Heat".
